Let’s talk about how to download Instagram reels.
Many of you have already been asking this question, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to answer it, while at the same time, share some tips on how to grow an Instagram account.

How to download Instagram Reels?
Instagram itself does not have a download button or any feature that allows you to easily save videos to your phone. However, you can still do it. There are many ways in which you can go about doing this, I will try to talk about the easier ones for both Android and iOS users.
Download Instagram Reels for iOS users:
Method 1: Video Saver app
We will be using an app called Video Saver.
Notice this: When you install the app, it appears as “Video Saver”, however, in the AppStore, it’s being displayed as “Repost for Instagram Photo Video.”
Simply make a search for “video saver” and download it.
Once you do that you don’t have to open Video Saver, yet, instead just open Instagram and go to IGTV.
After you are inside of IGTV, look for the video that you want to download, and open it.
Let’s take this John Mayer video for example.
Step 1: Press on the three dots
The first thing you need to do is press on the three dots at the bottom of the video.
This will open another box, in which you can either, copy the video link, report it, or hide it.
Step 2: Copy the link
You will have to copy the video link. This is a very important step because this is how eventually the app will know which video you want to download.
After you do that, you will get a message that says that the link was copied to the clipboard.
You can now close the Instagram app if you want.
Step 3: Open Video Saver and press the download
Once you open the app, you just need to do two things.
1- Press download
2- Go to the “tasks” tab
As shown in the image below, Video Saver has already pasted the link that you copied from Instagram. You won’t have to do it yourself.
Step 4: Wait for your video to be downloaded
Now that you are in the “task” menu, just wait for it to show the green checkmark.
And after it does, this is what it will look like:
At the bottom of your phone screen, it will tell you that your video just got “saved.”
Your video will be now available in your phone gallery.
And as you can see, you will get the full version of it.
And of course, you can play it, edit it, and do whatever you want to do with it.
Download Instagram Reels videos for Android users:
Method 1: Instagram Reels Video Downloader app
Many new apps are starting to get released for things like downloading IGTV videos. There are many of them, too many I should say.
Now, we won’t be like any of these other websites that simply tell you whatever they want. We have actually tried all of them. The one in the red box (picture below) is the one we liked the most and we recommend you use that one.
Why is it better than the other?
The interface is just more professional and easier to use. For example, it asks you if you want to download the video right after you copy the link.
When it comes to how many people have downloaded before, it is understandable that the number is low. People on the internet actually still think you can’t download videos from Instagram Reels. If you see one, send them this article.
Now, with all that being said, let’s actually start…
Step 1: Press on the three dots
After you selected the video that you want to download, click on the three dots on the bottom of the screen.
This will open a new tab with options such as “Report…” and “Copy Link.”
Step 2: Select “copy link”
After that, simply press on “copy link” so that your phone automatically copies the video’s link it to your clipboard.
Now, the first time that I did it, it just showed this message:
If that happens, then just open the app, and skip to step 3 .
On the other hand, it can show you something like this:
If that happens, then just select “Download Now.” The app itself has opened and will start downloading your video after you copied the link.
Step 3: Press on Paste & Download 
Step 4: Reaffirm that you want to download the video
Note: This will be only the first time if you select “Do not ask me again.”
Just click on download, and the Instagram Reelsvideo will start downloading.
Step 5: You video just got downloaded
After you waited for a few seconds, you will get a message like this one:
If you want to open the video, just press “open.”
The video will be available on the app, as seen in the picture above.
But also, it will be in your Phone’s Gallery.
And, just like with any regular file, you will be able to edit it, crop it, or do whatever you want to.
